Chestnut was my rat pack leader, he loved blueberries, and blueberry flavored treats, he was very smart and would even signal to me when he needed to go to the bathroom while we would be playing despite me not knowing how to train him to do that he did learn how to climb on my shoulder and would spin every time the cage opened, he is known for being the largest rat of the bunch, with his all white coat with the siamese coloring around the face
Baldwin was the runt of his litter and had an odd coat, he is known as a double rex rat which means they can more or less molt, he would go between a short and curly hair pattern to an almost entirely bald coat, on the way home from adopting him we passed baldwin,wi and i looked at him and knew that was the pefect name for him. he was always on the shyer side of personality, but he did love his cherry flaovered medicine and being massaged
Julius is most known for his hair color on his neck having a large white line going down it, since he was born on the ides of march and it looked like he got stabbed i thought it would be fit to name him julius, he did unfortunly get sick pretty early on and never really recovered his weight and went from a very curious rat to a bit more reserved but he did once climb on my shoulder and used me as an easier way to climb the cage door to escape and hang out ontop of the cage until i noticed there was only three rats
Toast was a people person rat,he is best identified by his bald spot on his forehead, no idea what it was but it never bothered him, though there are a few photos without it that i kinda just have to use memory for identifying. he also loved to antaganize Chestnut, but he never was very successful because of the size difference. he is well known amongst the vets i took him to for fighting for his life and never losing the energy to push away meds no matter how bad he looked. he was a very sweet boy outside of his immpressive no hand and liked to try and copy chestnut's hogging food move, he funnily enough reversed julius' personality with turning more curious later in life, we did end up watching all of dragonball together when i was taking care of him
